what's up with the online survey scam? or not?

are online survey scams cause I took some surveys online and when I finished they said that due to my answers I guess I didn't fit the Criteria?? what is that supposed to mean soo I looked back on my records to see how much I make 0 money I took about 6 already what is up with this?
