How do I use my existing domain name?

To use your existing domain name with Yahoo! Web Hosting, you need to contact your domain registrar and request a name server change to redirect your existing domain name to your new web site hosted by Yahoo! Web Hosting.


You should provide your domain registrar with the following information:

  • This is not a registrar transfer. Your domain name registration will remain with your registrar, and you'll still be responsible for domain name fees and renewal with your current provider.

  • Only the domain owner can request this change. Yahoo! Web Hosting cannot do it for you.

  • Your name server change may not take effect for up to 72 hours.

How do I move my site to Yahoo! Web Hosting?
